Jörg Esser has on his blog einpraegsam.de started an experiment, he presents two images available for you to edit as they see fit and then returned to the author.
I've also edited the pictures, of course with Lightroom. Below you can see the result. There are unfortunately only jpg images, so you do not have too much leeway. I'm not a big expert on this subject, but I'm not a fan of extreme modifications, which I usually look too artificial. So I here only the most important thing I did.
I find this a very good idea and you can learn as much as intended.

 |  The original is too dark to me, so I lightened it a bit and a blue sky more saturation added. The red object was weggestempelt bottom left and a little sharpness to it, where the grain is better than before. |
