snowshoe hike in the Pale di San Martino
13,8 km, 600 m, 4,5 hours
From Predazzo in Val di Fassa, we arrive at Passo Rolle (1980 m) where we park. Then it's first past the ski lifts and slopes for Rifugio Segantini (closed in winter). From here, go down to the Val Venegia, vorbai the Malga Venegiota (closed) and to Malga Venegia, it is open and well attended. There Trentino specialties, such as polenta with homemade cheese. After the break we continue down the valley until we come to a road, just before we go up the left, the sign Malga Juribello following. Pictured above are, we need only the plateau and cross, we are back at Passo Rolle.
The orientation is not a problem, although there are not many signposts, but the traces of the many snowshoers can not be overlooked. The weather today was, against all predictions, not very friendly, the sun has never shown.
