circular walk with snow shoes in glorious weather
12.2 km, 520 meters altitude, walking about 4 hours
at yesterday's hike to Hanicker Schwaige I have met a total of 8 walkers. Today I'm alone in the parking lot of Seriseralm orbit seen an estimated 1,000 people, in the Dolomites even then it was a multiple of it! Off the slopes, so a large part of today's hike, I was virtually alone on the road.
So, with the cable car to Kompatsch and since then walk to the restaurant Panorama and on to the mountain station of lauric lift, cross-country direction Rosszähne and just before the steep ascent to Roßzähnscharte left up to the gold button (2250 m), probably the highest point Seiser Alm then steeply downhill to the Alpine rose cottage, is in the cards called Mahlknecht Schwaige. After a pancake on way back to No. 7 Kompatsch.
