Auer and Cavalese Lavazèjoch we drive to where we parked. Just across from the parking area the trail starts to Reiterjoch No. 9, better known as Passo Pampeago. The trail leads through a beautiful, secluded forest. After about 1.5 hours we reach the Reiterjoch where we eat lunch in the Ganischgeralm. The original idea was indeed to climb the Zanggen, a mountain has long been on my wish list. But today there should not be, the increase from the light forest was steeper than expected and it was pretty late. But, is postponed not canceled, the Zanggen is certain to turn yet!
